I think we should always work to extract more power from the
wind,
the water,
and the sun.
I thought for a long time that we needed to begin rapidly
developing and deploying
nuclear power technology,
including
breeder reactors
and
small-scalehigh-efficiency
designs. I am not as sure about this these days, because
I think large human organizations (required for
complicated infrastructure like power plants) are
fundamentally prone to severe failure modes.
I think that it's really important that we work in any
way possible to lower the barriers (economic, cultural,
technical) that prevent people from accessing
communications technology.
I think that the universe is both more simple,
and more complex, than just about any of us believe.
I think that overall our species' current trajectory
is very troubling, and that access to information,
education, and critical thinking are our best hope.
So far, I am working or have worked on:
learning how to make technical and
social/cultural changes in organizations large
and small

If you can't listen to it, you need software to play
OGG Vorbis files.
I like old-school rap and hip-hop, djs, and turntablists.
A heavy dude named Afrika Bambaata was kind of a focus for that starting.
I stole this likeness of him.
